THE PEOPLE BEHIND BLUE JASMINE

We are Maroua and Chriss.

“We wanted to be there for our family, even when we could not be there in person.”

Maroua’s family lives in Tunisia. Over the past few years, we have faced several difficult setbacks. We could not be there all the time and worried about her parents. Two questions weighed on us in particular: Who would make sure they had fresh food every day? And who would accompany them to medical appointments?

We needed a solution that would work even when we were far away. We also realised that this challenge would remain part of our lives. It made us wonder: How many other adult children living abroad feel the same way? How many are also looking for help for their parents or family in Tunisia?

That is how the idea for Blue Jasmine began. Drawing on our own experience, we want to create something that helps other families too: finding suitable local support, making everyday life easier and being there for one another despite the distance.

Good to know.

Where in Tunisia is support available?+

You can enquire for any location in Tunisia. Our network is being developed. Availability is checked individually; an enquiry does not guarantee a service.

How much does support cost?+

Costs depend on location, service and frequency. Services, referral fees and any additional costs must be agreed transparently before an order. No automatic booking or payment takes place.

How are helpers selected?+

Our aim is to check identity, experience and relevant professional qualifications before making a referral. Evidence for each provider must be clarified before you commission a service.

Can my parents take part in decisions?+

Yes. Your parents’ wishes and consent are part of planning. Information is shared only as agreed.

Is Blue Jasmine an emergency medical service?+

No. Enquiries are not monitored as emergency calls. Contact local emergency services in an acute situation. Medical and professional care services may only be provided by appropriately qualified people.
